The following is a list of the Remote Desktop Services shortcut keys.

| Alt + Page Up | Switches between programs from left to right. | Alt + Tab + Left Arrow |
| Alt + Page Down | Switches between programs for right to left. | Alt + Tab + Right |
| Alt + Insert | Cycles through the programs in the order they were started. | Alt + Tab |
| Alt + Home | Displays the Start menu. | Ctrl + Esc or the Windows Key |
| Ctrl + Alt + Break | Switches the client between full-screen mode and window mode. | Alt, Space, X |
| Ctrl + Alt + End | Brings up the Windows Security dialog box. | Ctrl + Alt + Del |
| Alt + Delete | Displays the Windows menu. | Alt + Space |
| Ctrl + Alt + Minus Sign (-) | Places a snapshot of the active window, within the client, on the Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) server clipboard (provides the same functionality as pressing Print Screen on the local computer). | Print Screen |
| Ctrl + Alt + Plus Sign (+) | Places a snapshot of the entire client windows area on the RD Session Host server clipboard (provides the same functionality as pressing Alt + Print Screen on the local computer). | Alt + Print Screen |

Note that on an NEC98, the following shortcut keys are different:
- CTRL+ALT+BREAK is replaced by F12.
- CTRL+ALT+END is replaced by 15.
